Meet Wendy.

Wendy Lorenzen, Templeton Prime Properties

You’re going to love her. She’s great at making moon sand from scratch, paper maché, and creating decorations with her Cricut cutter. Also, among her many amazing gifts are baking, where she loves to teach her children about the science behind the rising of the yeast. Wendy has six children, (no typo) and she sees every event as an opportunity to teach them. Three of her children are adopted special needs children, all of them are the “joys of my life” she glows.

When she was little, she saw an adopt-a-thon and she was hooked. When other little girls were imagining having families and babies, she imagined her babies were waiting for her to come and be picked out. So when she and her husband married, she began picking out her babies. “The fact that they are special needs children adds a level of richness to our lives.” Says Wendy. “Everyone in our home knows sign language, and we understand beautiful truths…compassion, patience and finding strength in all kinds of different shapes and sizes.”

Wendy’s careful mothering pays big dividends for the team. Not only does she bring us cookies and pies, but her organizational skills keep us all on track and in line. That is, if we don’t want to end up sitting in time-out.
